Hello! I would love to know if anyone knows what dates of applications for Sephardic descent is CIL at? We submitted in July 2022 and haven't heard back! Even though family members have gotten our lineage approved and theyve been given CIL certificate through the same Portuguese immigration attorney that is helping us.
We also paid our membership dues to CIL and never received confirmation. Is this email still active? Sephardi.naturalization@cilisboa.org ?
I am beyond worried what else could be happening besides influx of applications.? Do you know if they reach out to you in case they need additional information? I have emailed CIL - do you know how long they are taking to respond? Do we know if the updates on the app CITIZCHECK is accurate?
Any help is greatly appreciated as we no longer feel safe here in the USA.
Sorry for my late reply. In CIL they only started to analyze cases from Apr 2021, so you just need to wait. Do you have your tracking number? Just keep checking on your case once in a while.
