Nationality Application Model 3
Hello,
I have submitted my nationality application through marriage. This was done through the embassy in the Netherlands in November 2024. The embassy has confirmed that my documents were sent and should be with the IRN but I have not received any tracking number or email from the IRN.
Should I be concerned, as per the group spreadsheet it seems that there are a few cases like mine who have not got the tracking Number ?
Is there anything I can do from the Netherlands, do I need to hire a lawyer in Portugal to cancel and refill a digital application as those seem to be getting a tracking number at least.

@Wanderer03 I don't know how the NL embassy works, but if it is like Brazilian one, then you don't get a tracking number, you just have to keep contacting them about your application, one day they will confirm it's done, after that you can request your PT birth certificate online.
That's why we always advise users here to send the application and documents directly to Portugal (CRC and ACP), because usually it's faster and you can check the status of your application online.
I don't think you need to hire a lawyer, just keep contacting your embassy once a month or so.
