Hi members,

I'm trying to get help from a lawyer who can help with my pending birth registration for nationality process submitted in 2017, its 7 years now and i have found out from IRN that they are trying to verify my birth certificate from India. The IRN sent the Portuguese embassy in New Delhi, India 3 requests to verify the certificate but they have not got any response, i checked with Indian authorities and they have not received any such request from the consulate in India, the Consulate is non responsive and is ignoring all my attempts to get the information. Its been 7 years and my mother and brother have moved out of India and i await to be united with them. I seek help to put pressure on the Consulate in New Delhi to get my case moving, they seem to be very adamant and non-cooperative. Appreciate any assistance. Thanks

    Can you tell me where is your birth certificate from in which state or place is it registered at

    And how did you start your process.

    And is your mother and brother both granted Portuguese citizenship and their birth is also registered in the same state or place as yours.
